On 8 September at 5:10 pm, Sonja Prlić and Reinhold Bidner will give a talk on "Games as Spaces for Communication" at the Expanded Animation Symposium at Ars Electronica. The symposium's topic is "The Art of Performance".
The lecture will focus on the documentary projects Border Grid and Once Upon Unsteady Grounds, which combine aspects of theatre, games, documentation and media art and move between real and digital space. During their talk, Sonja Prlić and Reinhold Bidner will give insights into the technical and organisational aspects of these projects, in which gold extra cooperated with various artists worldwide. They will also talk about the conceptual and artistic work on cooperative and participatory artworks. These artworks are places of communication and can be used to explore new forms of digital performance.
