On 26th of October, Tobias Hammerle, a member of gold extra, held an online guest lecture for the class "Art in the Community" at California State University, Los Angeles. The course, hosted by Haydee Jimenez, provided a dynamic platform for exploring the intersections of art, technology, and community engagement.
During the lecture, Tobias went into digital art forms and the role of artificial intelligence in the production of artworks, a perspective shared from gold extra. The reflective exchange with students led to some interesting discussions on how AI might challenge the boundaries of creativity, ethics, and collaboration.
We hope this session provided the students with a sincere look into the world of European digital art production, and perhaps to inspire them to new vistas in their own creative paths.
Thanks to Haydee Jimenez and the students at Cal State L.A. for their warm welcome and fruitful dialogue!
