Which places in Linz do you like, which don't? What stories, feelings and memories do you associate with individual places? And how do you want these places to change?
In the workshop My new city - What can my city look like? Reinhold Bidner and Karl Zechenter will show you ways to change your own city - on your own cell phone screen. We use “augmented reality”, a technology for cell phones that is known from Snapchat, Pokémon Go and many other apps. Another image, an object or a short movie appears on the screen of the cell phone above the camera image. In this way, we want to make our ideas and memories in the city visible on our cell phones.
Together with the participants, places for changes in Linz are selected and the changes are made visible in pictures, films, drawings, interviews, etc. with augmented reality.
For workshop participation: If available, please bring your own smartphone and laptop.
