WE ARE at the Gaming Festival LEVEL UP!

We are really looking forward to presenting our project WE ARE (mentoring program for children and young people focused on games) at the Gaming Festival LEVEL UP at the Messezentrum Salzburg!

We will be presenting the games developed by children and young people during WE ARE workshops and the WE ARE Game Camp.

Look forward to award-winning games, creative gaming, and the awesome game designers and media artists Raffael Moser and Felix Ludwig!

games - theatre - digital art – artistic research

gold extra ist eine Gruppe von Künstler*innen, die an den Schnittstellen von Spielen, digitaler Kunst, Theater, Film und bildender Kunst arbeitet. Sie forschen an der Entwicklung neuer Formate, z.B. im Bereich dokumentarischer Computerspiele und Robotertheater und beschäftigen sich mit Spielen als Kommunikationsplattformen für gesellschaftspolitische Themen. Die Idee schafft das Format - für die künstlerische Arbeit von gold extra ist die konstante Forschung nach innovativen künstlerischen Ausdrucksformen eine zentrale Aufgabe.

gold extra is a group of artists creating artworks in and in between games, digital art, theatre and visual arts. They are exploring new formats, e.g. in the field of documentary computer games and robot theatre, and are experimenting with games as communication platforms for social and political issues. The idea creates the format - constant research into innovative artistic approaches is a central task for gold extra's artistic work.
