WE ARE is a year-round series of activities and events by gold extra for
- Promoting children's and young people's interest in creative and exploratory engagement with digital media
- Activating creative skills in the digital field, fostering the participation of young people and children
- Encouraging exchange and collaboration between young people, children, artists, and creatives in the field of digital media
- Supporting a network of individuals and institutions in the education, cultural, creative industries, and leisure education sectors that engage with digital media
WE ARE Pilot 2024
In the second half of 2024, together with the City and State of Salzburg, we launched a mentoring project aimed at fostering creativity in the field of digital games for children and young people.
WE ARE took place in November 2024 as the first pilot project. During a three-day Game Jam, we developed games with children and young people aged 8 to 14, which will be presented to the public on December 18, 2024. On two additional days, the games can be played in the youth centers Juz Lehen and Iglu.
