The WE ARE Festival continues!
Excitement at the Lehen Children's Center
The second day of the WE ARE Festival was especially thrilling for some young game designers. For the first time, they were able to showcase their own games to their friends. The excitement was palpable as we set up the game boxes in the kitchen of the Lehen Children's Center. Immediately, about ten children gathered around the game boxes, eager to try out all the games. They also had the chance to play the self-developed werewolf game variant. "I can’t believe you actually produced this," exclaimed a child who had designed their own werewolf card — the "roaring lion."
Games that keep you hooked
The children and teenagers who developed their own games during the Game Jam achieved something extraordinary: the kids in Lehen couldn’t stop testing their luck, skill, and memory with the game boxes. Even after playing for the third, fourth, or fifth time, the games didn’t lose their appeal. This is every game developer's dream — hats off!
Grand Game Presentation on December 18 at the Kulturpavillon Liefering
The three games and a self-developed werewolf game variant by children and teenagers can be tested on December 18 at 4:00 PM in the Kulturpavillon Liefering, alongside the polycular escape game "Escape Fake." Food and drinks will be provided, as playing makes you hungry and thirsty!
