WE ARE 2025

WE ARE continues in 2025! We look forward to creative games and fun experimenting in many workshops in and around Salzburg. Children and teenagers aged 8 to 14 are invited to submit their game ideas to us by June 5, 2025. In July, our one-week WE ARE Game Camp will take place, where the winning teams can implement their game ideas with professionals from the gaming industry.

The WE ARE Workshops and the WE ARE Game Camp are free of charge. Some of our workshops even still have available spots, for which all children and teenagers aged 8 to 14 can register.

WE ARE Kids University Special: How Do Sound and Music Make Digital Games More Exciting and Fun?
Beeps, crashes, and fanfares: Sounds, audio, and music — the so-called soundscape — make digital games exciting and funny. We’ll experiment with joy, capture sounds, and try them out in games. We’re curious to see how the character of a game changes with different sounds.

WE ARE Game Camp

From July 7 to July 11, 2025, our Game Camp will take place. At the Game Camp, children and teenagers can implement their game ideas together with professional game designers and media artists. Participation in the WE ARE Game Camp is free of charge.
