Artificial intelligence can make images, videos, and voices look and sound deceptively real. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to recognize these tricks — and even create your own fakes. In the end, you’ll feed them into the computer game “Reality Check” and test how well others can spot your fakes.

Exploring Artificial Intelligence and Games Creatively
Workshop with Kai Trausenegger
for children in the Landeskrankenhaus
31.03.2026, 12:30–14:30
01.04.2026, 14:00–16:00Exploring Artificial Intelligence and Games Creatively is a two-day workshop for children and young people aged 8 to 15. The goal is to enable a playful, reflective, and creative approach to artificial intelligence and games. Starting from classic analog methods such as drawing and collage, participants create their own images on the theme “Games and Me.” These are then interpreted and described by other children and young people. Image and text are digitized and further developed into new visual results using AI-supported image generation, which are finally printed out and brought back into the analog world. The workshop combines creative practice with collaborative work and promotes social and empathetic skills. In accompanying discussions, participants explore age-appropriate questions about interpretation, changing perspectives, authorship, collaboration, and the opportunities and risks of AI. By switching between creative and interpretive roles, reflection is encouraged and a conscious approach to digital technologies is fostered.
